Small TVs and electronics can go to HHW; large TVs wait until 2027.

A small TV—20-inch CRT or 40-inch flatscreen or smaller—is encoded as accepted at Household Hazardous Waste for El Paso and Teller County households. Larger TVs are refused there. The 2026 Clean Sweep TV events have concluded; the county points to Spring 2027. Laptops, printers, and similar household electronics are encoded as HHW-accepted when the facility is open.

Measure the screen before you load the car. A living-room flatscreen over 40 inches is not a small-TV HHW drop. Do not drive to Akers Drive expecting a large-TV lane. The official Clean Sweep TVs and tires page is the source for the 2026 conclusion and the Spring 2027 pointer.
