Mattress and box-spring

Already-vouchered mattresses go to Urban Recycling on weekdays.

If your household already has an approved county voucher, the legal drop is Urban Recycling at 3341 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs 80907, weekdays 9 a.m.–4 p.m. from 2026-09-08 through 2026-10-09. Household Hazardous Waste refuses mattresses. New Eventbrite signup is closed; do not treat leftover registration links as open tickets.

This is a seasonal Clean Sweep mattress-only recycling window, not the year-round HHW counter. If you never received a voucher, this page cannot invent a walk-up lane. HHW at 3255 Akers Dr will send mattresses away even when the facility is open.

Labor Day 2026-09-07 is a county holiday (HHW closed). The mattress window itself starts the next weekday, 2026-09-08. Drop-off is weekdays only during that span—not the listed HHW Saturdays (2026-09-19 and 2026-11-07).

Use the selector to test a specific date against the voucher window. Official rules live on the county mattress page, which wins over this planning aid.

Verification date for the checked routes on this page: 2026-08-31.
